Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for full-stack development and quality engineering. You will design, develop, test, and support scalable applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software development experience and strong skills in Java, .NET, Node.js, Ruby, AngularJS, HTML/CSS, and SQL. This role emphasizes code quality, testing, and modern SDLC practices.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development, engineering, testing, or related technical roles.
Experience with Java, .NET, Node.js, Ruby, or AngularJS is preferred.
Strong HTML/CSS and SQL relational database experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through production support.
Develop clean, scalable, well-documented code meeting requirements.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated testing strategies.
Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
Design and maintain relational database solutions and write SQL queries for integration.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
Identify opportunities to reuse code and improve system architecture.
Troubleshoot issues and support defect resolution.
