Job summary

ActiveProspect, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own customer and business outcomes across the stack. You will ship end-to-end features on the frontend with React and on the backend with Node.js and Python services hosted on AWS, prioritizing impact and quality.

You’ll move between projects, interacting with customers, and delivering fast, reliable results while maintaining strong UX and security. You’ll mentor teammates and help shape product direction.

Qualifications

• Shipping end-to-end with ownership of the outcome.
• Strong product judgment and ability to de-scope and deflect scope.
• Able to onboard quickly into unfamiliar teams and codebases.
• Deep full-stack expertise: React, JS/TS, CSS on the frontend; Node.js and Python on the backend; RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes end-to-end, frame the problem, design it, ship it, own the metric.
• Stay close to customers; shadow sales and support; let customer reality drive decisions.
• Own interfaces, reliability, performance, and security; handle on-call for your systems.
• Build and scale both product surface and platform with React frontend and Node.js/Python backends on AWS.
• Architect AI-driven leverage; enable AI-assisted workflows and tooling.
• Mentor teams; write decision memos and ADRs; help design to self-serve.
