Job summary

First Soft Solutions LLC is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer for on-site work in Woodlawn, MD. The role demands deep expertise in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks to deliver enterprise applications.

You will design and build microservices, RESTful APIs, and high-throughput systems using Kafka and cloud technologies. In-person interviews are required; on-site work five days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and enterprise application development.
• Strong experience building microservices, REST APIs, SPAs, and high-throughput, low-latency applications.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, producers/consumers, topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
• Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, DB2, JPA/Hibernate, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
• Strong integration experience with REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, JAX-WS, Jersey, and CXF.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Nexus, Jira, SonarQube, Fortify, and UrbanCode.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, JUnit, Mockito, TDD/BDD, and Cucumber.
• Experience developing responsive, Section 508-compliant applications.
