SMS group Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Manager of Full Stack to provide strategic technical leadership for the full stack software engineering org.

You will bridge technology strategy, sales, and organizational leadership, translating business objectives into engineering roadmaps and guiding multi-team delivery across MES and metals processing domains. The role involves leading a multi-tier engineering organization, driving technical sales engagements, and shaping architecture standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering or related field and 7+ years progressive software experience.
• Experience in MES or metals production software.
• Proficient in C# and JavaScript; strong relational DB design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the full stack organization and align engineering roadmaps with business goals.
• Lead technical sales engagements and develop technical proposals, SOWs, and solution architectures.
• Drive capacity planning, budget management, and resource planning across multiple software teams.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, and CI/CD improvements across the Digital department.
• Manage multiple managers and engineers, including performance and succession planning.
