Ciklum is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will build production AI agents, design model behavior, and ensure observability across systems using AWS, React, and TypeScript.

The role emphasizes AI-first practices, security, and scalable architectures, with full remote working possibilities. You will collaborate with engineers to deploy robust infrastructures, review AI-driven code changes, and contribute to tooling and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Broad full-stack versatility across modern stacks and architectures.
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript, including Node.js, async patterns, testing, and monorepo tooling.
• Proficiency in Python for backend services, evaluations, analysis, and automation tooling.
• Hands-on AWS beyond serverless (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Bedrock) and broader components like containers, networking, IAM.
• Experience shipping LLM features in production (prompts, tool calls, structured output, long context).
• Comfort with AI-driven engineering tools (Copilot, Cursor, LLM APIs) and AI-first practices.
• Ability to modify Terraform configs safely across environments.
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL stores, schema changes, migrations.
• Design metrics, logs, and alarms for non-deterministic systems; debug production issues.
• CI/CD expertise, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication of trade-offs.
• Exposure to multi-agent systems, MCP servers, or evaluation frameworks.
• LLM cost control: model routing, prompt caching, token budgets.
• Prompt-injection defense and agent security.
• GraphQL for internal APIs and tooling.
• Code intelligence or retrieval work (indexing, symbol search, knowledge bundles).
• Kubernetes, AWS AppSync, and EventBridge.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI agents: implement TS services on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB) using Strands or LangGraph and AI SDKs.
• Design agent behavior: specify what the model investigates and what code enforces.
• Sandbox agents: create read-only runtimes, scoped tool access, and guardrails against misbehavior.
• Evaluate AI features: calibrate models, run production replays, assess recall precision and false positives.
• Ensure observability: emit reason-coded metrics and structured logs; monitor with Splunk and VictoriaMetrics.
• Run infrastructure: maintain Terraform roots; improve GitLab CI/CD for build, test, deploy and gates.
• Build integrations resilient to retries, rate limits, and failures with robust state handling.
• Use AI to write/review code while keeping agent context current.
• Review AI-written changes for security, correctness and maintainability.
• Enable teams: configure assistants, skills, hooks and MCP servers; pair with engineers.
• Build agent-facing tools: React and APIs for summaries, dashboards and internal tooling.
• Document systems with architecture diagrams, runbooks and decision records.
