Job summary

Ciklum is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our cross-functional team in Poland. You will build production AI agents, design agent behavior, and ensure observability and reliability across AWS-based services.

The role emphasizes TypeScript/React frontend and Python backend work, with Terraform-based infrastructure and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Remote-friendly and focused on AI-first engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Broad technical perspective with adaptability across modern stacks
• Strong React and TypeScript experience
• Proficiency in Python for backend services and automation
• Hands-on AWS experience beyond serverless (containers, IAM, networking)
• Shipped features using LLM APIs and prompts in production
• Champion AI-first engineering practices
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases
• CI/CD proficiency (GitLab preferred)
• Fluent English communication

Responsibilities

• Build production AI agents: TypeScript services on AWS using Strands or LangGraph and AI SDKs
• Design agent behavior and governance
• Sandbox agents with read-only runtimes and guarded resources
• Evaluate AI features, calibrate judges, and compare models before release
• Ensure observability with metrics, logs, and alerts in Splunk/VictoriaMetrics
• Manage infrastructure with Terraform across environments
• Improve GitLab CI/CD for build, test, deploy, and gates
• Build resilient integrations with retry, rate limits, and state handling
• Write/review AI-generated code for security and correctness
• Enable teams: configure assistants, hooks, and MCP servers
• Develop agent-facing tools: React UIs, dashboards, CLIs and Slack outputs
• Document architectures with runbooks and diagrams
