Job summary

Vannevar builds an agentic system that helps operators make sense of high-volume mission data and act with greater speed and confidence in sensitive government environments. The system analyzes millions of mission-relevant records to surface high-fidelity recommendations and decision-ready outputs while integrating into the systems and workflows customers already use.

In this senior individual contributor role, you will expand the product to new missions, datasets, and operating environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, S3
• Proficient with React front-end

Responsibilities

• Own mission problems end-to-end: understand users, define success, design, build, deploy, own outcomes
• Architect and own product delivery deployed to customer environments for mission-critical use cases
• Work with users and senior stakeholders to understand mission needs and constraints
• End-to-end delivery for new mission workstreams from requirements to deployment and sustainment
• Write substantial production code across the stack to improve capabilities, performance, and scale
• Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and domain experts to deliver complex features
• Support government-facing artifacts (RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, white papers)
• Ensure solutions meet RMF, security, and operational constraints in gov IT
• This role is NYC-based, travel up to 50% to field sites
