Job summary

Vannevar builds AI systems for high-stakes government missions. This senior role focuses on expanding the product to new missions and environments, writing production-grade code, and owning end-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment.

Expect close collaboration with users and senior technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, government-facing context. You will operate in NYC-based settings with travel up to 50% to field deployments, ensuring security and compliance across complex IT

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a full stack developer
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3
• Proficient in React and modern frontend tech
• Experience in RMF compliant environments
• Experience interfacing with DoD IT systems
• Experience scoping requirements with end users
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Own mission problems end-to-end from discovery to deployment
• Architect and own product direction deployed in customer environments
• Collaborate with users and senior stakeholders to define needs
• Deliver end-to-end technical workstreams from design to sustainment
• Write substantial production code across the stack
• Work with engineers, product designers, and mission experts on features
• Support government-facing artifacts like RFIs, RFPs, and statements of work
• Navigate government IT ecosystems ensuring security and compliance
• Travel up to 50% to engage with mission owners in the field
