Job summary

Bitwise is a mission-focused intelligence solutions provider delivering critical tools to the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. As a Full Stack Engineer leading a small team, you will build and maintain web applications and backend analytics that power analysts and operators in real-time workflows.

You will work in a fast CI/CD environment, interact with diverse stakeholders, and drive improvements to high-value operational processes on the mission every day.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 16+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Hands-on experience with non-relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience soliciting and applying feedback from stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with dataflow engineering.
• Experience with customer cross-domain solutions.
• Experience leveraging agentic AI for workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Expand on existing workflow automation efforts.
• Develop and maintain web applications to provide analytic and workflow support.
• Develop and maintain backend analytics.
• Operate with and optimize non-relational databases.
• Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results.
• Break down large tasks for team members and guide their execution.
