Job summary

Bitwise is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer in Maryland to support critical operational missions. You will build and maintain web applications, drive dataflow improvements, and collaborate with analysts, operators, and developers in a fast CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 12+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Extensive experience with full stack development with an emphasis on web development
Experience with relational databases
Experience with customer cross-domain solutions
Experience soliciting and applying feedback
Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
Experience with AI-assisted development
Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency
Experience with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve
Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
Experience with dataflow engineering
Experience with cert-based cryptography

Responsibilities

Provide dataflow expertise through development and process improvement
Expand on existing workflow automation efforts
Develop and maintain web applications to provide analytic and workflow support
Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results
Work across a diverse team to solve complex technical challenges in a Linux environment
