Job summary

Northstrat seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead back-end and front-end development with Java, JEE, REST services, and modern JS frameworks. You will build robust, scalable applications, collaborate across teams, and own features from design through deployment.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java skills, including JEE and REST web services.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience with Java microservice application and interface design and development.
• Non-internship professional software development experience of 2+ years.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum practices and traditional waterfall projects.
• Must have an active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access (TSSCI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Utilize Java, including JEE and REST web services, for back-end development.
• Implement and optimize front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Work with Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres databases.
• Operate within Linux environments.
• Apply Agile software development methodologies in your work.
• Support the entire product lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of our tech stack.
