Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver modern web apps using TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Azure, and IaC. This full-time remote role targets West Coast location with preference for Southern California.

You'll work with engineering leadership to shape architecture, establish best practices, and raise engineering standards as the product scales.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software engineering experience building web applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience developing modern frontend applications using React.
• Proven ability to design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database technologies.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, identity management, and application security.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, testing, and observability tools.
• Ability to review code, troubleshoot issues, and improve software quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
