Job summary

Taxwire is seeking a senior full-stack engineer in the United States who cares deeply about solving customer problems and shipping end-to-end products. You will work directly with the CEO and Head of Product to automate workflows, build new features, and enhance our tax filings engine and managed compliance services.

Expect ownership of customer-facing features, from design and backend contracts to production releases.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of engineering experience shipping full-stack products on small teams.
• Strong command of React and TypeScript with production apps you’re proud of.
• Experience owning features end-to-end, including backend contracts and design collaboration.
• Comfort with ambiguity and direct, honest communication.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from scoping to shipping and iteration.
• Build and maintain core product surfaces like dashboards and onboarding flows.
• Collaborate with tax ops to design scalable automation.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and push back when needed.
• Keep code quality high with tests and clean interfaces.
