Job summary

Proximity Works is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our San Francisco team. You will help build large-scale, high-traffic systems across web, mobile and connected devices, focusing on performance and reliability.

You’ll work on subscriptions, payments and entitlement workflows, leveraging Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks. Expect a collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities to mentor others and influence architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing high-concurrency, large-scale systems.
• Strong system-design and end-to-end ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack apps using Java and modern web tech.
• Build frontend and backend capabilities for subscriptions, payments and entitlement management.
• Develop responsive experiences with JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices for subscription workflows.
• Work on Fire TV IAP integration and platform integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.
