Job summary

Fin, a next-generation payments platform, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the early team and shape how money moves on Fin. You will design and ship core features across web and mobile, own projects end to end, and integrate with payment partners and identity providers.

This autonomous role offers ownership from spec to deployment, with emphasis on scalable, reliable systems and pragmatic design discussions rather than busywork.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Production experience with React Native; familiarity with Expo is a plus.
• Experience owning complex product changes from idea through launch.
• Deep comfort debugging across the stack, from DB to frontend performance.
• Strong understanding of security best practices around authentication and data handling.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, readability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full stack features across our web and mobile surfaces.
• Own projects end to end: scope requirements, design systems, implement, test, and deploy.
• Integrate third-party payment and financial APIs, processors, on/off ramps, and identity providers.
• Build scalable, high-performance services that handle real money movement with reliability.
• Maintain a high bar for code quality through tests and thoughtful reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to keep UX simple for users.
