Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Java design and development experience.
• 2+ years with React or Angular.
• 2+ years with Spring or similar open source frameworks.
• 2+ years with Tomcat/SpringBoot/Vertx or equivalent servers.
• Strong security considerations for web apps.
• Able to write and troubleshoot PL/SQL queries.
• Experience writing comprehensive unit tests.
• Experience with SDLC tools like GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, Maven.
• Experience building user-centric web applications with focus on usability and performance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of applications supporting Settlements platform.
• Lead design, architecture and new software components.
• Handle builds and deployments independently.
• Create software tests and verify quality.
• Produce design documentation for new versions.
• Provide 2nd-tier production support for 24/7 apps.
• Support deployments during maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot issues across dev, QA and production cycles.
• Keep test environments up to date with configurations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize applications.
• Collaborate with analysts/product management on new requirements.
• Follow team quality guidelines and company development standards.
