Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer SME to lead enterprise-scale software delivery, modernization, and DevSecOps across regulated environments. You will direct frontend and backend development, set architectural standards, and drive zero-trust and interoperability initiatives.

Required are 10+ years of experience and a CS-related degree; expertise in Node.js, Python, GraphQL, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and Generative AI concepts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced development skills in Node.js for backend and middleware services.
• Professional experience developing in Python for API, automation, or data-driven workloads.
• Experience building and integrating GraphQL APIs (or REST, gRPC, or tRPC).
• Working knowledge of search engines such as ElasticSearch/OpenSearch for indexing and data retrieval.
• Experience with message brokers, especially RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and model integration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for frontend and backend development.
• Lead full-stack development efforts using contemporary frameworks and messaging technologies.
• Oversee application modernization toward cloud-native and containerized platforms.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions aligned with zero-trust and interoperability.
