Responsibilities

• Build and optimize user-facing experiences that improve discovery and onboarding on Discord.
• Develop scalable backend systems serving dynamic content at scale.
• Work across the full stack—frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (Python).
• Design and run A/B experiments to measure impact on user acquisition and activation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to identify growth opportunities and iterate quickly.
• Maintain performance and reliability standards for user-facing properties.
• Write readable, reviewable code built with the next engineer in mind.
