Job summary
Rocket Money’s Autopilot team is seeking a senior software engineer to own the full lifecycle of Autopilot technology, from planning through production maintenance. You’ll develop with TypeScript across the stack, build React UI and Node/GraphQL backends, and balance technical and business needs with stakeholders.
You have 7+ years of experience with Node/TypeScript, React/React Native, GraphQL, and Postgres, and you thrive in a fast-growing environment where observability and vendor
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience with Node/TypeScript, React/React Native, GraphQL, and Postgres (or similar relational database).
- Ability to understand the bigger picture of how software benefits users.
- Strong observability mindset and ability to diagnose perf issues.
Responsibilities
- Make key decisions for the future of our banking and investment systems balancing technical and business concerns.
- Develop with TypeScript across the stack, building user interfaces with React and back-ends in Node & GraphQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand nuanced business needs and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
- Architect scalable solutions that align with long-term business objectives and technical sustainability.
- Own the full lifecycle of Autopilot technology from planning to production maintenance and optimization.
