Firstup is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver large-scale, multi-tenant cloud services with a focus on availability, fault tolerance, and clean architecture. You will set the bar for engineering quality and mentor teammates.

Key qualifications include 5+ years building reliable apps, full-stack fluency across frontend, backend, and databases, and experience with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.js. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years building reliable, performant applications and microservices in production.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.js is a strong plus.
• Proven full-stack experience across frontend, backend and database layers.
• Contribute to production health including on-call rotations and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver large-scale, multi-tenant cloud services with emphasis on availability and architecture.
• Own scalable SaaS applications end-to-end — frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Champion shift-left testing and quality across the lifecycle.
• Lead engineering best practices and mentor others.
