Job summary

Sharetec Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital team, owning full-stack development for the Digital Banking platform. Design, build, and maintain features across web and mobile apps, including an API layer modernization powering hundreds of credit unions and their members.

This remote, exempt role welcomes applicants nationwide (US, excluding California). Starting salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, with bonus eligibility based on experience and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full stack ownership.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, building production frontend.
• Experience with Next.js or a comparable server-side rendering framework.
• Experience shipping production mobile apps to iOS/Android with React Native; Swift/Kotlin experience welcomed.
• Solid backend development experience with C# / ASP.NET Core; open to other languages with ability to learn C#.
• API design and integration experience with RESTful APIs and auth.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL in production.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience modernizing existing production systems.
• Excellent communication in a remote-first environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, maintainable full-stack systems aligned with the Digital roadmap.
• Drive technical design discussions across modernization initiatives and API integration.
• Build, test, and maintain production-quality features for web and mobile platforms.
• Contribute to API design standards and integration patterns.
• Lead code reviews and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and ensure reliable delivery.
