Job summary

Leapfrog is a full-stack SaaS company focused on delivering digital health products with teams across Nepal, the US and Europe. We’re seeking a senior software architect/lead to drive architectural decisions and lead delivery of high-quality software.

You should have 4+ years of hands-on development experience and 2+ years with React/Node.js, deep knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, plus cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on professional software development experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• 2+ years of experience in React/Node.js.
• Expert knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, automated testing, CI/CD and deployments.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and building cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural decisions in collaboration with technology experts and deliver high-quality software that follows best practices.
• Analyze code and architecture, identify anti-patterns and implement improvements for scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Communicate with the client to understand goals and requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Drive technical projects and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment.
