About the Role

At Jerry, we're expanding our innovative chatbot platform Propelix, focused on creating SaaS solutions for building and testing advanced chatbots and voice bots. We seek a purpose-driven Senior Engineer to join our Chatbot Team, contributing to every stage of product development, from design to deployment. The ideal candidate loves solving complex problems with scalable solutions and has a passion for modern development ecosystems and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

1. Develop new features for our SaaS chatbot/voicebot platform, maintaining high-quality standards.
2. Build tools for chatbot creation, testing, and optimization.
3. Collaborate with product managers and designers to improve user experience, especially for non-technical users.
4. Apply your understanding of LLMs to optimize conversation flows and responses.
5. Support junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Minimum Requirements

1. 6+ years of full-time software development experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
2. Strong foundation in software development principles and algorithms.
3. Knowledge of multiple programming languages; familiarity with JavaScript, React, Node.js is a plus.
4. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
5. Proficiency in JavaScript with clean coding practices.
6. Deep understanding of code performance, scalability, and troubleshooting.
7. Experience with distributed systems or large-scale web applications.
8. Startup experience at a high-growth company is a bonus.

Preferred Extras

Experience with LLMs, CI/CD, React Native, and open-source contributions are advantageous.
