Job summary

Owl Labs is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing experiences and the supporting backend systems. You will work across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and device-connected workflows to ship high-quality software.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or a strong portfolio.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
• Experience across frontend, backend, cloud, and device-connected workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing features across the Owl Labs portal (React + Vite SPA).
• Migrate codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket) to ensure repeatable deployments.
• Design, build, and operate backend services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, IAM).
• Work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, optimizing queries and indexes.
• Implement IoT flows using MQTT and WebSockets with AWS IoT Core.
