Job summary

Hubject seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help shape and evolve a cloud-native eMobility platform. The role spans backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure, delivering scalable, secure applications.

Expect collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architects to drive reliable software and engineering excellence. Responsibilities include building secure REST APIs, modern UIs, and operating cloud-native services on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience developing full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and SCSS.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems and modern software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Git in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis) and automated testing frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of clean code principles, software design patterns, secure software development and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript.
• Build secure REST APIs and intuitive, responsive user interfaces while following clean code and software engineering best practices.
• Develop and operate cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, QA, Architects and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex technical issues while improving application reliability, scalability and security.
• Mentor other engineers, contribute to technical discussions and help establish engineering best practices across the team.
