Job summary

Elite Insurance Partners is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a fully remote position within the United States. The role focuses on ownership of end-to-end full-stack projects using Python, React, and AWS, with emphasis on data pipelines and integrations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong Python/JavaScript/SQL skills, and experience in regulated environments. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Experience building production web apps with React and a Python backend (FastAPI preferred).
• Experience with API and system integration work.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and operations, especially ECS/ECR.
• CI/CD tooling experience, e.g., GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead full ownership of complex full-stack projects from scoping and architecture to production and monitoring.
• Design and implement user-facing applications using React and Python backend services; FastAPI is preferred.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Architect integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms (MuleSoft preferred).
• Deploy and operate containerized services on AWS (ECS/ECR) and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Harden prototypes and tooling so non-engineers can use them reliably.
• Drive code reviews, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering quality across the team.
• Ensure compliance with data sensitivity in regulated insurance/financial services contexts.
