Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer II (Full-Stack) to advance enterprise-scale integrations and APIs within Slack data experiences. You will bridge product vision and technical execution, building scalable features for millions of users.

You will collaborate across Salesforce and Slack teams, own design discussions, and drive best practices while maintaining security and performance in a fast-paced environment. Raleigh office with flexible/Hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Technical leadership in designs or initiatives across teams.
• 5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems across the full stack.
• Experience with enterprise software security, performance, and compliance.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and real-time patterns (webhooks, websockets).
• Experience building real-time messaging or event-driven systems.
• Experience with Java and JVM-based systems.
• GenAI tooling in daily software engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Debug complex issues across distributed systems and API performance.
• Develop high-quality, scalable APIs for enterprise use and data synchronization.
• Own code quality through testing, reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, UX, and multiple orgs to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
