Job summary

Reveal Technology is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to own backend services, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, and frontend work. You’ll build Ruby on Rails apps with PostgreSQL, craft RESTful APIs, and deploy on Kubernetes while ensuring security and observability for defense and logistics systems.

The role spans data ingestion pipelines, multi-source data routing, and interactive web UIs, with emphasis on scalable, offline-capable deployments and strong architectural discipline.

Qualifications

• 5-10 yrs of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, and Docker.
• Proficiency with React, Angular, Tailwind, Turbo.js, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Rust's async ecosystem (Tokio, Axum, Tower, tracing).
• Experience deploying and operating services in Kubernetes at scale.
• Experience building modern web apps using React, TypeScript, Vite, mapping libraries.
• OpenTelemetry instrumentation expertise beyond default configurations.
• Excellent API and software abstraction design skills; cross-backend architecture work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Ruby on Rails apps with PostgreSQL and PWAs optimized for mobile and offline use.
• Design RESTful APIs, schemas, and data models for defense and logistics systems.
• Create durable data ingestion pipelines across relational, graph, and analytical stores.
• Develop interactive web apps for visualization and querying of complex data.
• Deploy and manage apps on Kubernetes with secure supply chains and reproducible builds.
• Establish end-to-end observability with traces, metrics, and dashboards.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and DoD integration best practices.
• collaborate with product/design to translate requirements into technical solutions.
