Position: Backend-leaning Full Stack Software Engineer (Aera Projects); Full-time, $150k - 200k + large performance bonus ($33k-165k) + generous equity package

• Aera Finance is Gauntlet’s on-chain treasury management protocol that helps DAOs generate yield while remaining non-custodial, autonomous, and diversified.

Role:

• Join the Aera team as a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on building next-generation on-chain treasury solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain software for the Aera platform, diagnosing and resolving defects for optimal performance.
• Ideal candidates will have a passion for crypto, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Focus on product and user experience by engaging with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback.
• Understand the broader context of code decisions to contribute effectively to the team.

Required skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python; willingness to work primarily in Python, but open to Go or other languages.
• Understanding of blockchain and DeFi protocols, concepts, and best practices.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with financial products, crypto or traditional.
• Experience with Solidity.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
