Job summary

PTR Global is seeking experienced software engineers in Irving, TX to design, develop, and implement large-scale applications with strong SDLC discipline. You will work on both frontend and backend systems, write tests, and document technical work products.

You will mentor teammates, drive reliability and security improvements, and help the team identify high-value work in small batches. Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, RESTful services, and cloud/delivery tooling is desired.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years SDLC experience designing developing and implementing large-scale applications (front-end and back-end).
• 5 years with Python and proficiency with FastAPI.
• 5 years with RESTful web services.

Responsibilities

• Writes tests and documents technical work products e.g. code scripts process according to organizational standards and practices
• Decomposes intricate designs into maintainable implementations
• Designs self-contained systems within a team and leads significant capability implementations
• Coaches team members to improve reliability, security, and performance
• Mentors teammates and guides learning journeys
• Observes environment and identifies opportunities for new approaches to problems
