Job summary

Calendly is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Notetaker group to design and support core features and architecture powering AI Notetaker and meeting recaps. You will join a service-based, multi-technology stack with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native tooling.

You will collaborate with Product and Design to define requirements, own features end-to-end, and participate in scaling initiatives while mentoring peers and contributing to a high-quality product used by millions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Professional experience with Node is preferred; React or UI framework desirable.
• Professional experience with TypeScript.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs.
• Hands-on experience with SOA, microservices, and scaling initiatives.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including discovery, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor) as productivity tools and defend implementation choices.
• On-call availability for business-critical alerts outside regular hours.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America; Calendly does not sponsor immigration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within your team to build new features that expand Notetaker functionality and support additional user types.
• Contribute to platform scaling initiatives.
• Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine-tune requirements.
• Attend agile ceremonies to plan and execute work.
• Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly.
• Review implementation plans and pull requests from peers.
• Mentor and coach other team members.
