Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Boston is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale high-traffic digital platforms within a MarTech ecosystem. You will design, develop, and maintain features across a full-stack stack, with emphasis on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development in a product-focused environment.
• Expert-level proficiency with Node.js and React.
• Strong experience designing and building scalable, high-traffic web applications.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and testing discipline.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex, high-traffic features from concept to production.
• Write clean, maintainable code across the full stack.
• Conduct and lead code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
• Identify technical debt, bottlenecks, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain CMS, billing, and MarTech integrations.
• Champion modern engineering practices, including automated testing and observability.
