Job summary

Voio is redefining how radiologists work by unifying tools for viewing, dictating, and patient context. We build AI-powered radiology tools with fast interfaces and scalable backend systems, originating from UC Berkeley/UCSF research and expanding to real-world clinical deployment.

You will bridge elegant frontends with robust APIs, collaborating with design, ML, and clinical teams to deliver reliable, human-centered experiences in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python (backend) and TypeScript/React (frontend).
• Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, authentication, and state management.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Ability to operate independently, make sound tradeoffs, and deliver with clarity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that integrate imaging, reporting, and search into one seamless workflow.
• Design and implement backend APIs and data flows to support real-time collaboration and AI inference.
• Develop frontend components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript) with a focus on usability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate across engineering, ML, and product teams to translate clinical and research needs into production features.
• Own projects end-to-end — from system design to deployment — with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical reviews, and internal tooling that improve developer velocity and code quality.
