Job summary

a2z Radiology AI, based in Boston with a hybrid work model, is seeking a software engineer to advance our clinical AI labeling and radiologist-facing tools. You will own the viewer, annotation system, and model output integration, building reliable, testable code with direct impact on patient care.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with medical imaging tools, coordinate geometry, and modern web backend stacks, and are comfortable collaborating with radiologists to ensure trustworthy

Qualifications

• Experience building software used by clinicians
• Ability to design and apply quality metrics for medical labeling
• Comfort with coordinate systems and image geometry to improve segmentation

Responsibilities

• Own the viewer and annotation system used by radiologists
• Develop model-output contracts and ensure readability of results
• Build scalable platform components on AWS and FastAPI
