Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Principal Full-Stack Engineer to lead a cloud-based platform for secure monitoring, connectivity, and remote management of medical devices in Andover, MA. You will drive architecture, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams.

The role requires deep cloud-native experience, IoT/IoMT expertise, and a hands-on approach to coding, with focus on regulatory and cybersecurity requirements and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong cloud-native architecture and IoT/IoMT experience.
• Expert in .NET/C#, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Deep AWS knowledge including IoT, security, data, and monitoring.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Identity management using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, and deployment of a cloud-based medical device monitoring platform.
• Design scalable microservices, APIs, and backend services for device connectivity and remote management.
• Architect IoT/IoMT solutions using AWS IoT Core, MQTT, secure device communications, and telemetry processing.
• Develop data pipelines and storage using DynamoDB, relational databases, and event-driven patterns.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and distributed, high-throughput data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, Security, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to ensure compliant solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, code reviews, performance tuning, and mentoring.
