Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals, set technical standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, microservices, and data-driven features using Angular, .NET, HTML, CSS, and SQL Server, while promoting test-driven development and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and .NET frameworks.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (C#, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience and commitment to unit testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure applications meet business requirements and system goals and resolve issues.
• Review and improve existing applications for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business liaisons to identify needs.
• Analyze requirements and participate in fact-gathering sessions.
• Estimate and prioritize issues with project team.
• Develop data dictionaries and technical specifications.
• Design data flow, ER diagrams, and ETL standards.
• Define enterprise data aggregation across multiple systems.
• Profile data for quality and integrity, ensuring reliable insights.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and data warehouse stack.
