Deque Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to advance the Axe Monitor product. You will contribute to high-volume scanning with a TypeScript/React frontend and a Java/Spring Boot backend, aligning work hours with US Eastern business time.

The role emphasizes backend design, data pipelines, and frontend component development, while maintaining accessibility and applying AI-driven coding practices within a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering with strong backend depth in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and relational databases.
• 2+ years of TypeScript, Node.js and ReactJS.
• Experience using AI tools with critical judgment to catch AI errors.
• Ability to query databases, trace code and resolve live production issues.
• Willingness to work 9 AM - 5 PM US Eastern business hours.
• Experience building complex software in large enterprise environments (finance, insurance, big tech, or scaled SaaS).
• Active GitHub profile with inspectable code (Java samples preferred).
• Basic web accessibility knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production customer issues during US Eastern hours.
• Build high-volume services, scanners, data pipelines, and SQL queries using Java/Spring Boot/Hibernate.
• Maintain and build accessible UI components and APIs in TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while reviewing AI-generated code for security, logic and accuracy.
