Job summary

CACI International seeks a Software Engineer to join our Sterling, VA team, focusing on full-stack development for C-UxS detection systems. You will own features end-to-end, building scalable applications with Java/Spring Boot on the backend and Angular or React on the frontend.

You’ll deploy via Docker and Kubernetes, participate in design reviews, and drive high-performance, secure solutions with a customer-driven mentality. US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• US citizen able to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with microservice-based architectures.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• Frontend experience with Angular or React.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of containers and microservices patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack web applications with technical leadership.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and responsive UIs using Java/Spring Boot and Angular/React.
• Collaborate across engineering, PM, and customers to drive software lifecycles.
• Deploy and maintain systems using Docker, Kubernetes/Helm with high uptime.
• Lead code reviews and improve application reliability and performance.
• Influence system design decisions and development processes.
