Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Software Engineer II to design, develop, test, and maintain cloud‑based software applications. You will contribute across the full stack using Java, Python, and React on GCP, building scalable microservices and APIs.

In an Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with product owners and architects, apply TDD, CI/CD, and security practices to deliver high‑quality software and ongoing improvements. This is an on-site role in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with GCP, Java, Python, React, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and deliver user-focused solutions.
• Define software architecture, tech stack, and deployment strategies.
• Create high-level architecture and component designs.
• Work with product owners and cross-functional teams.
• Develop using modern languages, frameworks, and Agile practices.
• Define and implement testing strategies (TDD).
• Improve application performance and development efficiency.
• Follow CI/CD and security practices.
• Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces and back-end services.
