Job summary

Technica Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the FBI FDP system using a Postgres/Java/React stack. You will work with an existing team to deliver MVP features from concept to deployment.

The role requires onsite work at a government facility in Washington, D.C., with remote options only with customer approval. The base salary ranges from $131,000 to $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in full-stack software engineer experience.
• Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility.
• Strong experience in Java, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and relational database development (Postgres preferred).
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD, GitLab, containerization, and modern agile delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain front-end and back-end application components.
• Integrate components, create new capabilities, and modify existing codebases.
• Participate in planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and QA across the full SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in architecture sessions, and provide input on development best practices.
• Support automation and optimization of operations and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, BA, and Test Engineer to ensure features meet criteria.
• Plan and execute deployments, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility and enterprise security practices.
