Job summary

Medium is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development of the FBI FDP system using a Postgres/Java/React technology stack. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in delivering large-scale enterprise applications and will work closely with existing development teams.

This position offers a competitive salary range from $125,000 to $155,000 and comprehensive health benefits, along with opportunities for individual growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Java, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and relational database development (Postgres preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain front-end and back-end application components.
• Integrate components, create new custom capabilities, and make modifications to existing codebases.
• Participate in planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and quality assurance across the full SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in architecture sessions, and provide input on development best practices.
• Support automation and optimization of operations and maintenance tasks.
• Plan and execute application deployments, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
