Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance Company seeks a passionate Full Stack Developer to join our Enterprise Business & Technology Services team. You will design, develop, and maintain features for a business-critical website, collaborating with product owners and security to meet governance standards.

You will work in a SAFe agile environment using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Next.js and TypeScript to deliver robust software within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full stack experience with Java/J2EE and front-end technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, React, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Familiar with REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL databases and ORM tools.
• Experience in micro-services architecture and SAFe/Agile environments.
• Understanding of secure development practices and insurance domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and unit test features for a business-critical website.
• Collaborate with product owners to decompose features and align with governance requirements.
• Work in a SAFe agile team with developers, QA, business users and external partners.
• Maintain existing software and software documentation.
• Adhere to security standards and release/build/configuration practices.
