Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full-stack Engineer 5 to lead diverse technology projects and mentor engineers within a distributed microservices environment. The role focuses on building robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, AWS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.

You will collaborate with product managers and architects to shape platform roadmaps, drive end-to-end design, and ensure high performance and reliability across large-scale systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not counted).
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with distributed microservices.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to tech communities.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for financial empowerment.
