Qualifications

• 7+ years building and shipping production software with emphasis on Java/JVM
• Full-stack capability from UI (Next.js/React/TypeScript) to backend services
• Experience designing and operating RESTful and GraphQL APIs with versioned contracts
• Experience with CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing
• Understanding of data lakes/Databricks and data governance practices
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (Azure)
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain back-end microservices in Java (Quarkus or Spring Boot) with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Build front-end features in Next.js/React with TypeScript
• Develop and support Databricks data workflows feeding reporting dashboards
• Evolve relational schemas with safe migrations (Liquibase)
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code and perform unit/integration tests
• Lead code reviews and ensure quality via tests and observability tools
• Collaborate with architects and data scientists to align with standards
• Drive scalable, reusable design across the full stack
