Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade applications across frontend, backend, and data layers. You will work with Java/Spring Boot, React/Redux, and RESTful microservices, while leveraging GCP and Terraform for cloud-native delivery.

The role demands 3–5 years of enterprise experience, strong analytical skills, and collaboration across teams to drive high-quality software with modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of enterprise-level software development experience with Java, SpringBoot, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in designing/implementing large-scale distributed systems and RESTful services; full-stack with React/Redux and Java/Node.js.
• Experience with Jira, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton) and API security tools (42Crunch).
• 2+ years cloud experience (GCP) and related services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and consume RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop modern front-end apps using React/Redux or Angular; HTML/CSS.
• Work with cloud-native architectures on GCP and Terraform for IaC.
• Conduct TDD, BDD, and performance testing; perform UI automation testing.
