Worldpay is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java, Angular) to join our software engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own both backend and frontend development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular in an agile environment.

Strong UI/UX sensibility, testability, and DevOps practices will be valued as you contribute across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building REST web services with Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with SOAP/REST services using Java/Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Proficient with Git and DevOps tools like Jenkins.
• Fluent SQL; DB2/Oracle/SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, TDD/BDD, DevOps, and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and analyze application software; support existing products and business applications.
• Perform usability testing and gather real-world intelligence from target users.
• Collaborate with business and IT decision makers on UI requirements and brainstorm ideas.
• Use responsive web design to create applications that conform to multiple screen sizes/devices.
• Develop the aesthetics of the UI including layouts, menus, colors, and fonts.
• Keep up with UI/UX and HCI best practices.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and UI flow charts for planning.
• Advise on SEO to develop search-friendly interfaces.
• Work with Development and QA teams to improve usability.
• Adhere to SDLC, coding standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production products and applications as needed.
• Attend overnight releases when needed.
• Automate processes to write maintainable, testable code.
