Qualifications

• 8+ years building REST web services in Java with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• 8+ years front-end development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• 8+ years using modern JS frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, Bootstrap).
• 8+ years building SOAP/REST services in Java/Spring.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience is essential.
• Git, GitHub and Jenkins/Nexus experience for DevOps.
• Proficient in SQL (DB2/Oracle/SQL Server).
• Experience with Kafka data streaming and event-driven architectures.
• CI/CD, TDD/BDD, DevOps and automation practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Code, test and analyze software; support existing products and apps.
• Conduct usability testing and gather real-world user insights.
• Collaborate with business/IT to discuss UI requirements.
• Use responsive design for multi-device web apps.
• Develop UI aesthetics from layout to fonts and colors.
• Adhere to SDLC, coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Attend overnight releases when required.
• Automate processes to create maintainable code.
