Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Java backend and Angular frontend experience
• Proficiency with SQL and Oracle
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to application resiliency, vulnerability management, and support
• Experience owning deliverables independently in large enterprise environments
• Ability to manage multiple applications and streams of work
• AI-assisted development experience in day-to-day engineering
• Nice to have: Snowflake, cloud deployment, AML, data platforms or data lake, Kafka

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support
• Develop backend services in Java and front-end features in Angular
• Design and optimize SQL queries and data models for Oracle and related SQL databases
• Apply AI-assisted development to improve code quality, velocity, and testing
• Improve application resiliency, manage vulnerabilities, and address end-of-life software
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate release processes with rollback strategies
• Maintain and modernize applications, reduce technical debt, and improve coverage
• Collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and support user testing
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews
• Support production during U.S. hours while coordinating with the India-based team
• Participate in deployments typically on weekends and Friday evenings
