Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Developer to join our team in the United States. You will design, develop, test, and document software solutions across the stack, focusing on scalable, reliable systems and coaching junior engineers.

Required qualifications include 5–7 years of production experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and expertise in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field and 5–7 years of design, development and implementation experience in production environments.
• Master’s degree preferred and airline industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes).
• Solves technical problems and builds components/libraries with far-ranging impact.
• Delivers high quality work and coaches junior engineers on technical craftsmanship.
• Conducts root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and leads execution of corrective actions.
• Designs integrated systems that enable cross-team delivery of value with speed, scale, and reliability.
• Oversees management of technical debt and eliminates it where possible.
• Anticipates scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guides mitigation strategies.
• Partners with security to embed secure practices early in lifecycle.
• Evaluates risks and guides prevention strategies.
• Reflects on squad delivery practices and drives improvements.
• Removes duplication of effort and identifies opportunities for reuse.
• Measures team performance and identifies development areas.
• Explores emerging technologies and prototypes ideas for architectural adoption.
