Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to help design and implement scalable web applications using JavaScript, React.js, Java, and TypeScript.

This hybrid role in McLean/Richmond, VA offers collaboration across product, design, and QA teams in an Agile environment. You will work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern open source tools to deliver robust solutions for 15-months contract engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, React.js, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Jest, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, React.js, Jest, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 4 years of experience in open source frameworks
• 3 years of experience in Agile practices
